The Next Step Network offers Anger Management Education Workshop series to people in need of anger management services who reside in this judicial district.
Anger Management Specialists will provide the educational classes to serve the community needs as identified from area demographic data. The Anger Management Classes will consist of two-hour sessions for six weeks for a total of 12 hours of education. Mandatory attendance for each of the six sessions is required for successful completion of the Anger Management Class. Participants will be given their own personal portfolio to keep information from each class for review when the education series is completed.
The fee for the Anger Management Class series is $150. This fee is to recoup the program costs and materials necessary to facilitate a quality program; it also ensures that the participant will complete the program when making a financial investment. Participants must complete a registration form and make payment to enroll for the classes. A schedule of classes will be given to the participant at that time. If the participant enrolls for the series and does not complete the classes, the fee is refundable. However, if the participant is unable to attend a class for a reasonable issue (up to the discretion of the facilitator), arrangements can be made at the discretion of the facilitator. Participants must notify at the time of enrollment of any requirements made by judicial authorities or other service agencies; this will ensure that the required documents for release of information are made at that time. Failure to do so by the participant will not oblige the anger management specialist for making reports or maintaining communication with the proper agency, legal representation, or judicial authorities.
