Residential/Inpatient Treatment 45 - 60 day program provides comprehensive substance abuse counseling and intervention based on the 12 Step model. Consumers receive daily substance abuse related treatment, weekly academic tutoring, area group meetings, recreation, approved part-time work, and referrals to out-of-agency care services. Gender specific groups are available.

Our facility is capable of serving ten (10) male and five (5) female consumers in dorm style accommodations. Three (3) meals per day are provided for consumers; breakfast  cooked and served by consumers, lunch and dinner is prepared five (5) days per week by facility cook. All weekend meals are prepared by consumers.

Laundry equipment, soap, and bleach are provided; however, if a consumer wishes to supply their own special brand of laundry soap, they may do so. Fabric softener and dryer sheets are not provided.

Consumers will be allowed one (1) phone call within the first twenty-four (24) hour period of admission. No phone contact will be allowed until the consumer has completed twenty-one (21)  of treatment and with the discretion of their primary counselor; however, consumers are encouraged to keep in contact with loved ones by mail.

  • Things to bring to treatment:

    Personal Hygine items: shampoo, conditioner (optional), deoderant, toothbrush/toothpaste, bath soap, lotion (optional), hair grooming items (brush, comb, hair ties, etc.), perfume/aftershave (will be kept in the night office). MUST BRING own towels and washcloths.
  • Personal Preference: candy, pop, snacks - limited to 10" X 10" locker ~ or one week's supply.
  • Laundry items: laundry soap (optional), dryer sheets/fabric softener. Laundry soap and bleach are provided by NSN.
  • Clothing: nice clothing for class ~ at least seven (7) days, church clothes (if you would like to attend services), swim suits (women = one piece; men = swim shorts - no unhemmed cut-offs), sweats, shorts (4" above the knees), flip flops.
  • Medications: MUST be approved by Administrator in a pharmacy distributed container with directions for use or samples must be accompanied with a physician's prescription indicating dosage amount and frequency of administration. Nicotine patches and gum are allowed.
  • ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT BRING: tobacco ~ any kind, musical intruments, electronics, cell phones, radios, weapons ~ any kind, clothing with or depicting the use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs, pillows, and reading material not related to AA or NA.
  • YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING:  personal photo identification (driver's license or other state issued photo identification), proof of income, spending money, and a calling card and 2 spiral notebooks. Through the restructuring of The Next Step Network, we are now  asking for an $2000.00 down payment. The balance of $2000.00 will need to be paid in full, for a total of $4000,00 before treatment is completed or financial arrangements have been made. All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted. The clients are now able to work in the community to help with the payment. Our plan is very theraputic to the indivudial because it will allow him/her to adjust to treatment, to a vocation, and blend into society  

     


Outpatient Treatment Program includes one-on-one counseling sessions, aftercare, legal offenders groups, support group meetings, and family counseling.

Under the outpatient program, state certified ten (10) hour and twenty-four (24) hour Driving Under the Influence (DUI) offender education courses are offered. Ten (10) hour DUI offender education is provided on a scheduled Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Sunday morning for $150.00. These days are subject to change.Registration and fee must be completed before the individual is able to attend the educational course. at (580) 338-7259 or Sam Christopher, Outpatient Counselor at (580) 338-7259 />Twenty-four (24) DUI Offender education is scheduled as two (2) weekly sessions at two (2) hours per session. Cost for the twenty-four (24) DUI Offender education series is $360.00. Registration and fees must be completed before the individual is able to attend the education course.


Assessment and Evaluation (A & E) services are provided by state certified assessor. Individuals who have been referred by the court system, attorney, other legal authority, or self-referred are assessed by using a battery of assessments in order to get a true view of the individual's needs. Assessment tools that are utilized are: SASSI 3, DRI 2 or DQ, ASI, and the SALCE.

 DUI Offenders must pay $175.00 for the assessment battery of testing.

Eary Intervention (EI) services target youth who are at-risk or have been using or abusing alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs or who are at risk of dropping out of school. Each student is limited to ten (10) hours of service. These servcies include support/educational group meetings, screening, parent/teacher meetings, and assistance with theraputic links.

EI services are provided through area schools at no cost to the school district. Sessions are scheduled during the student's school day with cooperation with teaching and administrative personnel.
